Information Session: Call for Proposals – CODEX 2021 Summer Institute

We held an information session about the CODEX 2021 Summer Institute on January 27, 2021.

Stephanie Merkel, Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Ohio Wesleyan University, Abby Aresty, Technical Director and Lecturer of Oberlin College’s Technology in Music Related Arts (TIMARA), and Larissa Fekete, English for Speakers of Other Languages Professor, will share their experiences from the inaugural CODEX 2020 Summer Institute and examples of ways they have collaborated with colleagues on their respective campuses to develop and incorporate digital components in their teaching. All offer examples of courses and co-curricular projects that demonstrate the kind of collaboration and critical engagement with technology that the CODEX Summer Institute aims to support.

Also on hand will be Ben Daigle, Director of Consortial Library Systems from the Ohio Five, and Heather Fitz Gibbon, Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at the College of Wooster. As Co-Directors of the CODEX Summer Institute, Ben and Heather will be able to share information and address questions about the proposal process, expectations, and logistics of the institute.
